What is SCORE?
SCORE is a nonprofit nationwide organization dedicated to providing free and confidential counseling to help the development, growth and success of small businesses. SCORE is sponsored, in part, by the United States Small Business Administration (SBA). It is managed from the national SCORE organization in Washington, D.C. and has some 10,500 member-volunteers across the country. The Springfield Chapter of SCORE serves the Illinois counties of Cass, Christian, Logan, Macoupin, Menard, Montgomery, Morgan, and Sangamon.
